Volunteers
Every practice, game and lined field happens because someone volunteered.
Bethel Youth Soccer Association is run entirely by volunteers. You do not need to know soccer to help. Most jobs take an hour or two, and every bit makes a difference for the kids.
Coaches and assistant coaches
Every team needs a head coach and at least one assistant. We will help you get started, and practice plans are available for new coaches.
All coaches must complete the coach registration, background check and safety training required by CCSA before working with players.
Field lining
Fields are lined before game weekends, and each team takes a turn. It is a great job for a parent and an older player to do together.
Concession stand
The concession stand helps keep registration costs down. Volunteers sign up for short shifts on game days.
Other ways to help
- Team parent: organize snacks, picture day and end-of-season plans
- Board member: help plan seasons, registration and fields
- Field and equipment days before and after each season
- Sponsorships and fundraising
